Heroes in Crisis #4 is… not a good comic. Without going into spoilers, the issue has the continued poor characterisation previously seen in the earlier issues, now coupled with art that’s sexualised in really inappropriate moments.

the most irritating about this is that clay mann’s art is wasted in this story. how does this pitch became a rehash of dc’s own mistakes in 2004? i don’t know. someone needs to answer from dc editorial.

Teen Titans Vol. 1
FINALLY!!!! IT’S FINISHED!!!
So… a little bit of personal history to those who may be interested.
Back in 2004 I started to read comic books, and the Teen Titans (by Geoff Johns and Mike McKone) was basically the title that made me fall in love, not only with comics, but the DC Universe as a whole.
A couple years ago I decided to go back and read the older Teen Titans stories, the first formation, the classic stuff. I also thought that would be fun to draw some of the main characters in those stories, even those who no one know, the ones who showed up in one issue never to be seen again. That way I could practice drawing different faces and avoid everybody looking the same. And so I did.
Here is the result.
It’s weird to see the whole thing put together, I really like how some of them turned out, and at the same time, there’s a few ones that I hate it, but overall I’m pretty happy with the result.
I hope you enjoy it.
PS 1: For the more nitpicking, I drew not only the characters from Teen Titans Volume 1 (1966), but also their first three appearances in The Brave and the Bold Volume 1 (1955) issues #54 and #60, and Showcase (1956) issue #59.
PS 2: Sorry for the grammar mistakes, my English is not that good, especially when I’m writing.
